about the monday project.

hello, it is super lovely to have you stop by.
Welcome to The Monday Project – an eclectic lifestyle blog for fellow twenty-somethings with a tendency for falling into Primark despite promising to only buy secondhand from now on and continuously spending too much money in the local beer garden. I like writing, planning holidays, pinterest, podcasts and plants. And pints.
what you can expect.
The Monday Projects aims to feature a range of interesting (I hope) and insightful content on affordable interiors, budget travelling and everything else which is handily filed under lifestyle; expect money chat, personal style chat and books books books.
Sometimes I treat The Monday Project like my online personal diary whilst other times it aspires to be a snazzy online publication which is my foot in the door for a book deal. I love writing and setting up The Monday Project in 2016 was, without a doubt, one of the best things I’ve ever done.
Unsure where to start? Take a look at some of my favourite posts:
blogging brainstorm: how to create quality content you love.
creating blog content whilst travelling.
the ultimate list of true crime podcasts.
I also have a fortnightly newsletter Monday Letters, focusing on Monday magic and getting your week off to the best possible start. For a dose of Monday chat + positivity, subscribe here.
who i am.
Hiya, I’m Kirsty and I spend a lot of time online. I live in Glasgow where I’ve just finished up studying my undergraduate degree in Classical Civilisation & History at the University of Glasgow and come September I’m embarking on my masters in Digital Marketing. I intern in marketing with a financial services company, I love eating out and I really don’t mind spoilers; I tend to read a TV show’s Wikipedia page prior to watching to decide if I’ll like it.
I also do a bit of freelance copywriting and content creation on the side which you can find out more about here.
working with me + the monday project.
